7 Things You Need to Know!

  • Apply for Oklahoma EBT online. I’ve had many people tell me that the only reason they don’t have food stamps is because they’re too embarrassed to go into the office. You can apply online and skip the lines!
  • You can buy fruit trees and birthday cakes. It’s true! You can buy much more than just groceries. Many people think that you can only buy food with your food stamps card, but that’s not technically true. Your food stamps card can do much more than buy groceries! You can buy some surprising things with food stamps!
  • Shop smart. You may be able to get more food for your money at farmer’s markets and You-Pick Strawberry Fields!
  • You may be eligible for more food stamps. When I was receiving food stamps, I filled out the paperwork completely wrong. I didn’t know it at the time but I could’ve received hundreds of dollars per month in extra food stamps! If you are struggling to buy enough groceries each month, then you really need to read this post!
  • You can get cash back! It’s true and it’s legal – no cash benefits required. One of our readers earned an additional $437.84 just by shopping with her food stamps card. She uses that extra money to buy diapers, wipes and other essentials.
  • You can shop at many places. You can use your Oklahoma food stamps funds in some unexpected places. In addition to most grocery stores and gas stations, you can use your card at Costco, many farmer’s markets and even Schwans food delivery trucks!
  • You can use your EBT card in other states! Not only can you shop in other states, you can also get EBT discounts in other states. All of our state lists use green titles to indicate what venues accept out-of-state EBT cards for discounts.
